When the digital world and the physical world unite
As co-founder and CEO, Kai Brunner started Sig2 Labs from his experience designing market leading software for optimizing processes and team collaboration.
After decades of creating enterprise tools for better workflows, he noticed that no matter how much we make work more efficient, we still deal with delays and quality issues every day.
One thing became clear: The flow of work ties directly to the timing of communication, so he designed a system to deliver information at a location, at a specific time.
Mike Sims took notice and reached out. From his three decades in Construction Management, he saw a unique advantage to using location-based audio messages before anyone.
He had the notion that planning communication with automated instructions and reminders for quality assurance and safety measures solves the inefficiencies that cause work delays.
Mike became an investor and board director, and even got involved in shaping Sig2’s real-time field activity reporting, while also pioneering its adoption in construction operations.
Prashanth Duggishetti runs the Venture Studio Ellenox. He added Sig2 Labs to his portfolio of startups and as our technology partner, we uniquely benefit from his commitment to innovation in AI, and field testing methods.
Under his engineering leadership, we released the 2nd generation of the mobile app as well as a more precise analytics platform for accurate activity reporting in the field.
His early career in Silicon Valley and in robotics bring a unique rigor for real-world quality assurance, and a pragmatism that aligns with the construction industry.
